Dean Williamson

Dean is a avid fisherman. He once fished 47 weekends in a year. Born and raised in Missouri, he was raised on the water, started fishing when he 5 years old. With 42 years of fishing experience, he was on of the people we asked to test our line. All of them, including Dean like what they found.

Caring about the environment, Dean was happy to come aboard with us.

Mr. Williamson uses a medium-heavy Berkley 8ft Big Game Spinning Rod pole with an 8000 Penn reel. He has tested the line on the 6000 series and realized that the 6000 just wasn’t big enough to handle the line he was testing. He scoured the internet looking for a reel that wouldn’t break the bank and settled on the Penn 8000. The Penn 8000 can be expensive. However, he figured out that as heavy as the line is, you need to use a pole that can handle throwing a 6-8oz weight. Options include MadCatz or HellCat Rods, those 2 rods can be a expensive rod to aquire.

When Mr. Williamson is not on the water, which is rare, he likes to build computers, work on his boat & design stuff on his computer.

Mr. Williamson earned an AAS in Design Drafting from Linn State Technical College in 2004, after his 2 year stint in the United States Army. He would later attend Missouri Science & Technology for a Bachelors degree in Computer Science & Business. Mr. Williamson holds 5 degrees ranging from Design Drafting, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business & Computer Management.

Mr. Williamson has done designing work for many industries such as but not limited to, Drag Racing, Medical Products, Sportsman Products, Military Applications, After Market Products. He has also designed, a special sporting helmet, Handless Toothbrush, Auto Catalytic Converter, Fishing Line & Trimmer Line.

If Mr. Williamsons in not on the water which is rare, he is at home playing on his computer either building websites, playing numerous games or designing stuff.
